Mr. Klein co-founded Equity Management Partners in 2010 following 28 years of experience as a senior business executive. He founded and/or led five technology companies in infrared optics, optoelectronics, biotechnology, fiber optics, and mobile applications software. In each case, he was a core member of the senior management team, often filling dual roles of chief business officer and chief financial officer. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of PurposeEnergy, a bio-waste energy company and a volunteer mentor with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Venture Mentoring Service, providing advice to spin-off companies from the MIT community. Dr. Villeneuve co-founded Equity Management Partners in 2010 following 17 years of experience as a senior business executive and scientist. He founded and served as CEO of three high-tech companies in optoelectronics, industrial process analysis, and food emulsions. He was also a member of the Advisory Board of Lyric Semiconductor acquired by Analog Devices, and Filter Sensing Technologies acquired by CTS. Previously, he was Research Scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Adjunct Professor of Engineering at Brown University. He currently sits on the advisory board of two companies spun out of MIT and is a volunteer mentor with MIT’s Venture Mentoring Service, providing advice to spin-off companies from the MIT community. Dr. Villeneuve holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Laval University, Canada.
